Friendship not quite like it seems.

They whisper of secrets but not to me.

As if I’m almost out, as if I was never truly in.

Names ring no bells.

Reek of faces I may never meet.

Quiet naggings of false truancies.

Vibrations of the unknown.

Of a truth I have only recently discovered.

I know of her only what she has revealed.

But I should know more.

If she speaks true of my status.

Should I not know more?
